Church Life

In addition to our Sunday church services, Jesus is God Ministry is a missions-focused church that welcomes those who are suffering and struggling. 

 

Monday through Friday, our volunteer teams go out to the streets to reach the lost souls of Des Moines and Federal Way. Our volunteers take sack lunches, bibles (thank you to Christ's Church Federal Way!), clothing and hygiene items as we have them and distribute these items to the homeless and needy. As the weather gets cold each year, we also hand out blankets, boots, shoes and other winter items.

We feed the homeless in our community through this outreach and also with hot meals that we serve from our church multiple times each week.

Jesus is God Ministry also has a Clean & Sober Housing Program, where we provide housing for men and women as a re-entry program for those coming back to society from prison, homelessness, addiction and other sins that destroy lives.

In all of our efforts, our mission is to share the love and gospel of Jesus Christ with the lost and suffering in our community. As Jesus did, we do not descriminate against anyone.
